Attack message

When I hit a guy that I'd normally beat, I sometimes get this message;-

"******** feels better in almost every way!"

And I lose.

Does anyone know what drink or sweet effect this is?

It might be the sorrowful penguin effect. I heard that it gives you a buff, that whenever someone attacks you and would have won, they actually lose.
So the person you are fighting might have that buff.

Actually it's the polypop. It adds 15% to all of the stats for a limited time.
