I read some-where about getting the crew, you need a flashlight and to go somewhere dark... I'll try and find where I read it and will post the info...

nope sorry to disappoint you but if you take the flashlight and go to that dark place (which is the fizzy falling pit) you only get th golden egg and on later tries you get a chance on catching a rare rat (pirate rat, etc. also see New Rats thread)
